Improv Festival 2012

In 2002, we added “All Rights Reserved,” an on-going teen improvisational troupe.  Our teen improvisational troupe, the first in the Valley, is comprised of a group of teens who work with professional teachers and perform around the Valley.  In January of 2004, we initiated a Valley-wide Teen Improv Festival; we hosted the eighth such festival in January of 2011, featuring 8 troupes from around the Valley.  The troupe has been invited to perform at Phoenix Public Libraries and has performed three years in a row for Night Out, an all-night rally for at-risk children focusing on substance abuse.

In 2003, AJTC was one of 7 local organizations to receive a 5-year 21st Century Community Learning Grant from the federal government which enabled us to provide on-camera and visual arts classes to several hundred at-risk 4th-6th graders in the Phoenix Elementary School District.
