and soothe the soul. The Arizona Jewish Theatre Company is dedicated to producing
enlightening and dynamic professional theatre that reflects and illuminates Jewish
culture, history and perspective. We celebrate the resiliency of the human spirit and
the diverse nature of Jewish culture. Through the life-affirming and heightened eye
of theatrical expression, AJTC adds an important ethnic component to the colorful
Arizona landscape. We serve as a source of pride and reaffirmation to the Jewish
community in addition to being a source of education, sensitivity and awareness
to the community at large.
In our 21st season, we are very excited to be bringing you a variety of works from the Jewish repertoire. We start with a musical revue by one of Broadway/Hollywood's most talented teams - Kander & Ebb - then an Arizona premier of thought-provoking comedy - a world premier of a new work we have commissioned and developed - and a seldom-seen play by one of America's most popular playwrights. We invite you to join with us for a wonderful year of song, laughter, poignancy and stimulating thought!
